MDM Implementation Consultant
Full-Time position in our corporate headquarters in Hackensack, NJ
Data Foundations, the leading Master Data Management software vendor, is hiring implementation consultants. This is an excellent opportunity for data architects and other information management professionals to work on exciting MDM projects.
Your primary role will be to assist our customers successfully deploy the top-rated OneData solution for Master Data, Reference Data and metadata management. You will also work with our partners supporting their OneData implementations and initiatives. The position will be based in New Jersey, with 20-40% travel on average expected.
Major responsibilities include:- Develop logical and physical data models based on customer requirements.
- Implement OneData solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Work with customers to determine processes to efficiently manage master data and reference data using OneData.
- Train end users and OneData administrators at customers and partners.
- Provide advice to customers, answer their questions and address any concerns they may regarding Data Foundations products and services.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relations.
- Channel requirements and feedback from implementation sites to the development team for product enhancements.
- Complete work in a professional and timely manner in accordance with project plans and budgets.
Primary skills needed:- Strong skills in relational databases and logical data modeling.
- Knowledge of Oracle stored procedures, views, functions, scripts and data modeling.
- 4+ years experience in ETL / BI / metadata tools implementation.
- 4+ years of on-site customer-facing consulting experience.
- Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
- Experience in MDM projects preferred; must have knowledge of Master Data Management and Reference Data Management challenges.
