Key Challenge:

Avon needed to identify and consolidate the common products from among ½ million distinct products worldwide. Business transformation initiatives required definition and setup of a standard data portal to enable harmonization between supply chain and marketing units.

Solution:

OneData as a Standard Data repository was setup to start managing core reference entities in a centralized environment. Patent-pending data cleansing algorithms embedded in OneData enabled the consolidation of distinct products marketed around the world into a unique set of centrally-managed products.
