OneData Now Available as Hosted Software

Hosted delivery is ground-breaking option for versatile data management software

Englewood Cliffs, NJ - May 14, 2004 - Data Foundations, Inc announced a hosted version of OneData™, their industry-leading collaborative-data management software. Fully web-based and requiring just a web browser, OneData is a versatile tool that can be used to manage several data universes, including corporate Master Data, Reference Data, and business as well as technical Meta Data.

OneData can be used to manage Master Data such as those relating to products, customers, and vendors; Reference Data such as lookup tables, pick-lists, product or customer attributes; Meta Data including business and technical; common business definitions; taxonomies and hierarchies; directories, registries, and dictionaries - any collaboratively managed data set.

OneData has so far been available as packaged software installed at customer sites. The upcoming release, 3.0, is expected to be available in a few weeks. The hosted version provides all the capabilities and power of the packaged version, without the upfront licensing costs or infrastructure requirements. With easy migration options to move customer data in, and the intuitive interface, customers can become productive using the service in as little as a few days.
