OneData is Data Foundations' flagship product for enterprise data management, developed from the ground up to manage multiple domains and types of corporate information assets such as Customer, Product, and any other Master Data domains, Reference Data such as code sets and hierarchies, and metadata.
Solutions
OneData powers various types of software solutions that address specific business requirements and challenges across industries and verticals. These include solutions for multi-domain Master Data Management (MDM) such as Product Information Management (PIM) and Customer Data Integration (CDI), Location Master, Employee and Supplier/Vendor Master, and Reference Data Management such as code sets and enterprise hierarchies.
Metadata management solutions include metadata registries, both based on standard metamodels such as the ISO 11179 and custom metamodels.
Capabilities
OneData provides an easy-to-use, configurable, browser-based front-end with the features to define and import your data model, build the underlying structures for the model, manage data values, and distribute the model structures and values to enterprise applications and users both within the enterprise and outside. All of this occurs within the context of a centralized repository, with built-in security, workflow, collaboration and change management capabilities, and the ability to present information in multiple user interface formats and styles.
The modular nature of the product allows for easy integration into the enterprise landscape. The underlying data model is fully extensible; you can use your own model or modify one of the provided templates. This makes it easy for OenData to adapt to changing business situations and requirements.
The physical database structure is accessible to any 3rd-party tool - for example, you can use an external reporting tool or an ETL tool that may be your enterprise standards. Numerous standards-based integration options are available to incorporate OneData into your landscape.
