Standards-based: OneData is a standards-based web-based application, running on any Java J2EE application server such as WebLogic, WebSphere, or Sun ONE, on any Java-supported operating system.
No client software: Only a web browser is needed to access the entire functionality of the application, and there is no client software to be deployed.
Scalable architecture: Scalability features include the ability to add additional OneData application servers, J2EE server clustering, or database clustering.
Open repository: No proprietary structures or encoding is used in the repository, and any reporting tool can be used to query the contents.
Open interfaces: Numerous standards-based interface options, including Web Services, messaging (JMS), JMS, XML, JDBC
External authentication: In addition to application security, external authentication using LDAP and Windows Active Directory are supported.
