OneData MDR
OneData MDR (Metadata Registry) is commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software that enables organizations to quickly build, manage, and deploy metadata registries, right out of the box.
It comes with two pre-built models
1. OneData-Registry with ISO 11179 Model
2. OneData-Registry with 'Lite' Model
OneData MDR provides:
- A configurable data model that you can easily extend as needed.
- Configurable registration processes that allow elements and objects to be properly 'registered' (i.e. accepted) in the data registry.
- A layered organization/responsibility structure for approvals and standardization.

- Extranet access, to facilitate data exchange and wider access.
- Various means of data interchange including Web Services, JMS messaging, and FTP.

- Glossary of standard terms, integrated discussion forum, extensive auditing and logging functionality.
- Ability to manage content, taxonomies and information resources in one central repository.

The OneData-Registry with the ISO 11179 model provides all the benefits of the base data registry with the ISO 11179 data model and processes pre-built into the COTS package.
